You guys know I love my skincare, and I always try to update you on new products that I’m testing out. I was recently sent a really sweet package from the people at ANNEMARIE BÖRLIND, which if you’ve seen one of my previous posts you’ll know is a brand that I love, that included an Exfoliating Peel that I’m so excited to review for you!
One of my favourite things about this brand is that every ingredient is natural and sustainable, plus most of their products are either vegetarian or vegan! An awesome thing about this scrub is that it actually includes shea butter sourced from the brand’s charity project in Mali, which helps to support fair trade initiatives. I also love how sleek and simple the packaging of this exfoliator is, and the silver cap gives it a really nice finish.
WHAT IT DOES:
- Removes dead skin cells
- Smooths and refines pores
- Regulates sebum production
- Leaves skin looking and feeling more balanced and even-toned
I’ve been testing this exfoliator out for a couple of weeks now and I have to say that I’ve really been loving it. The shea butter in this really helps to keep my skin soft and not become too dry from the exfoliation. I sometimes find that the exfoliants in face scrubs are often too delicate to really do a good job, however the natural jojoba wax beads (no damaging microbeads in this exfoliator!) are the perfect size to really scrub away any dead skin.
My favourite way to use this exfoliator is to actually follow it up with the ANNEMARIE BÖRLIND Vitamin Duo Mask, this gives my skin the most gorgeous radiance and makes me look really refreshed and healthy. Although this exfoliator is a little on the pricier side at £18.90, a little of this product goes a long way, and I think the quality definitely makes it worth the price. If you’d like to try it out for yourself, you can get it here.
I hope you guys enjoyed this post, let me know in the comments what your thoughts on this mask are and whether you would like to try it! See you next time,
