April Favourites 2017

I honestly can’t believe it’s already May, this year is just flying by! Hopefully it will start getting warmer soon, I can’t cope with this cold weather much longer!

This month I’ve actually had quite a few favourites, all beauty-related this time (what a surprise). I’ve really been loving a “no-makeup” makeup look recently, so lots of these products are great for creating a natural base. Here are my April Favourites!

I’ve been wanting to try this foundation for the longest time, and since summer is approaching I decided I would finally pick it up. This foundation is definitely not for everybody, if you like full coverage then you will hate this, but it’s really amazing for a “no makeup” makeup look. It’s super lightweight and feels like absolutely nothing on the skin, and although it’s definitely a light coverage foundation I think it could be built up to a medium. It’s absolutely perfect for summer when my skin is at it’s best so I don’t want to cover it up but I want to even out tone – I know this will be all I’ll be using when the weather gets nicer!

This mascara is a holy grail for so many people, and it’s totally become one for me too. I’ve never had a mascara work this well for me, it lengthens, thickens and curls my lashes all day without being clumpy – I’m obsessed! I definitely think this is the best mascara I’ve ever used, and I already know I’ll be repurchasing this as soon as I run out.

I actually did a full review of this palette and created a couple of looks using it, so you can probably guess how obsessed I am with this palette (answer: very). There’s nothing I don’t love about this, the shadows are pigmented and buttery, the shades are all beautiful and warm-toned and the packaging is stunning. This is probably my favourite palette since the Anastasia Beverly Hills Modern Renaissance Palette, which is saying something because that palette is insane, and I will definitely be using this all throughout summer.

I received this product in April’s Look Incredible box and absolutely fell in love with it. It’s a liquid highlighter which is a beautiful golden shade that’s absolutely perfect for summer, and looks super pretty blended out onto the cheekbones. This is perfect for the “no-makeup” makeup that I’ve been doing recently because it gives a really natural, healthy looking glow, I love it!

I’ve always preferred a nude blush on myself because I think bright pinks often look ridiculous on my pale skin, so when I saw this palette I knew I needed to pick it up. It has three shimmers and one matte, and the formula is amazing! They’re super pigmented and blend out really easily, and they look really gorgeous on the skin. Although the bottom left shade is a little dark for me, it works really well as a bronzer or an eyeshadow so I can still get use out of it!

This is another product I’ve been using for my “no-makeup” makeup routine, and I’m absolutely loving it! Although it’s not as full coverage as my NARS Radiant Creamy Concealer, it still has really great coverage whilst looking natural. It also doesn’t crease on me at all which is insane – I don’t even have to set it! This isn’t drying at all on me  either despite being a 24 hour waterproof concealer, so I’m really impressed.

So those were my April Favourites! I hope you enjoyed this post, let me know in the comments what your favourites were this month! See you next time,

A x

I love Zoeva eyeshadows but I’ve never tried any other products. This blush palette looks gorgeous! I think I need to take the plunge and try the Too Faces Mascara, I’ve heard such good things! xxx
