BECCA Haul + Collection

Ever since I tried the BECCA Backlight Priming Filter last year I’ve been obsessed with the brand and have made it my mission to own practically every product they sell. I’ve built up a decent collection over the past few months – with a lot of help from the insane deal that was the QVC set. That set included a primer, foundation, lip gloss, under eye brightener and highlighter for only £49, so obviously I couldn’t not get it.

One of my favourite products that BECCA sell is their Eye Lights Eyeshadow Palette – it’s actually my all-time favourite palette – so when I saw they had released an Ocean Jewels Eyeshadow Palette it only seemed right to pick it up (and a bunch of other products I’d had my eye on).

In total I own ten BECCA products (well, technically 11 but only because I own two of the primers) – which I think is a fairly decent amount for someone who only started out their collection about half-a-year ago. Since trying my first product, BECCA has quickly become one of my favourite ever makeup brands, so I thought it would be a fun idea to share my collection. And since I recently just grabbed about eight more products I thought a haul was fairly necessary too!

This was the first BECCA product I ever tried and the one that had me instantly hooked. If you have dry skin and love to look as radiant as possible then you need this primer. This gives my skin that glowy look without being glittery, and actually feels moisturising unlike a lot of radiant primers. It gets pretty tacky for an illuminating primer too, which means it really makes your makeup last all day. I’m almost through my first bottle of this and I’m so glad I have a backup because I truly don’t think I could live without this.

I’ve only had this foundation for just over a week and it’s quickly become one of my favourite foundations. It’s dewy without looking greasy and it makes my skin look perfectly radiant all day long. I love that this has a similar packaging to the primer to keep a theme throughout the brand, and the frosted glass bottle feels very luxurious. I also am obsessed with the lid of this; it twists up to reveal a button that works the dropper which is seriously cool (and hygienic!).

This is quite a sheer foundation but it can be built up to medium coverage – which is my ideal formula for a foundation because I love to look as natural as possible. I think if you like fuller coverage foundations or have oily skin this might not be for you, but if you have dry skin like me – or even normal/combo – and love radiant foundations then you’ll really be into this.

I decided to get this in the shade ‘Beige’ because this is the kind of foundation I love in the summer and I don’t have any foundations that match my tanned skin, and luckily this is perfect! It also matches me when I fake tan, so I’ve been loving this for making me feel summery and bronzed (or as bronzed as I can get).

This probably isn’t something I would’ve picked up for myself purely because I already have under eye correctors, but I’m so glad it was included in the QVC set. This brightens up my eyes perfectly without making them look cakey, which is always my concern with correctors as I hate layering up too much product.

I usually prefer peachy/yellow-toned under eye correctors because my dark circles tend to be on the blue/purple side, but this actually works so well for brightening up my under eyes. The consistency reminds me of the Glossier Stretch Concealer because it’s very sheer and dewy – I think this is what makes it look so natural because it’s not too thick. You only need a tiny bit of this to completely brighten up your under eyes, so I know this will last me practically forever.

I’ve been on the hunt for a good, radiant (can you see the theme here?) bronzer for a long time now, so after I heard so many good things about the BECCA one I knew I had to have it. This is a very glowy bronzer but without a trace of glitter; it just gives a natural sheen to the skin. It’s perfect for warming up the face without looking orange – it is very pigmented though so you definitely don’t want to pick up too much on your brush!

I’m obsessed with liquid blushes because of how natural they look, so I was very excited to test out this one. I love coral blushes for summer so ‘Grapefruit’ seemed like my perfect shade – it’s a very peachy coral that looks perfect on tanned skin.

This has a subtle sheen to it which I love because it gives a much more skin-like finish, and I definitely feel like it lasts a decent amount of time on the skin. I love the fact that it’s water-resistant (although I haven’t put this to the test as of yet) and that it can be applied to both the cheeks and lips to pull the whole look together. It also smells incredible, it’s really fresh and fruity and totally screams summer to me.

I alway want to wear lip glosses but I feel like super glossy ones age me, so I was blown away when I actually fell in love with this gloss. It has tiny, iridescent glitters in it that I worried would look a little childish but actually look really peachy and glowy – I’m obsessed.

This shade is a gorgeous pink that’s very sheer and just adds a hint of colour to your lips, with gorgeous green and gold glitters throughout. At first the glitter is super intense and iridescent, but when you rub your lips together it becomes a lot more glowy and wearable. It’s also not a super sticky gloss, instead it’s quite moisturising, and you can’t really feel the glitters in it. I’ve been wearing this lip gloss everyday and I don’t want to wear anything else anymore – I think I might need to buy this in every shade.

BECCA’s highlighters are one of their most popular products and for good reason – they’re beautiful. Since buying it last year I’ve used ‘Moonstone’ every single day. It’s the most beautiful champagne shade that compliments the yellow-undertones of my skin perfectly.

I got the shade ‘Vanilla Quartz’ in the QVC set and I absolutely love it. It’s a white with a pink-gold sheen that is insanely reflective and incredibly stunning. I love mixing these two together to create a gorgeous, golden highlight.

I love that you can build up the intensity of these highlighters from naturally glowy to completely blinding, and they just have a pretty sheen to them rather than being glittery or chunky. You can buy travel sizes of these too for about half the price which I would highly recommend – I never go through a highlight and it’s an amazing way to test out all the shades!

And we’ve made it to my absolute favourite BECCA products. The quality of these shadows is absolutely awesome and the shade range is so summery and bronzey – I truly love them both. The Eye Lights palette is what got me back into my love for bronzey shadows, and I honestly haven’t reached for any other palette since I bought it.

I’ve only used the Ocean Jewels palette a handful of times but I love the unique range of shades and the ocean theme. This palette contains a couple of duo chrome, iridescent shadows that are stunning as toppers, and the two matte shades mean that you can create a complete look so easily.

I love creating a super glowy look across my entire face so I love having palettes that are almost entirely made up of shimmery shadows. I’ve been so impressed with the quality of both of these palettes – I have a feeling I’ll be grabbing every new edition of these palettes. Also can we just appreciate the packaging for a moment? It’s so luxe, you just need these palettes in your life.

Eye Lights Palette L-R: ‘Pearl’, ‘Rose Quartz’, ‘Moonstone’, ‘Opal’, ‘Topaz’, ‘Toasted Marshmallow’, ‘Hot Cocoa’

So that’s my BECCA Haul/Collection! As you can see they’re easily one of my favourite brands; I’m yet to try a product from them that I don’t love.

I hope you guys enjoyed this post, let me know in the comments which one of these products is your favourite. See you next time,

I can’t get over how gorgeous those palettes are! Mermaid Pearl is the most gorgeous shade ever, I need it to wear every day of my life please. One of my fave YouTubers, Bella Fiori, always raves about BECCA products so I really want to try some of their stuff out, especially the highlighters as she wears them every day and her highlight always looks amazing. I think the thing I most want out of the products you’ve bought is the primer, I really want to go more fresh and glowy with my make-up as Spring approaches! x
