Fall Fashion | Autumn Lookbook + Haul

I recently went on a major shopping trip after realising I had basically no appropriate clothes for autumn or for starting uni (I live in band tees and shorts). I knew I wanted to do a haul of everything I had bought, but I also had the idea to combine it with an Autumn Lookbook to create a variety of fall outfits with both new and old items to give you guys an idea of how I would style everything. So like every good blogger, I let you guys choose what style of post this should be in a poll, and the majority of you voted for a combo! So without further ado, here are the outfits I’ll be rocking all autumn.

What is autumn without mustard? This is the perfect jumper to dress up for work or down for a casual everyday look, and it’s bright colour will definitely liven up any outfit. I can also attest that it’s incredibly cosy, I’m actually wearing it right now and it’s so soft which makes me super happy. The zips on the side give it a cute little twist, and for the price you can’t go wrong!

Anything monochrome and distressed is a must have for me, so it’s safe to say I’m in love with this jumper. I especially love the oversized and baggy fit which I think is incredibly flattering when worn off the shoulder. I like that it’s not too cropped, because when I’m wearing a jumper I’d like to stay warm and not freeze my ass (or in this case, midriff) off.

This jumper is easily one of my favourite things in this entire haul. It’s huge but still flattering, insanely cosy and has an awesome bow on the back that gives it a really unique touch. This comes in four different colours but I really love the very neutral-blush shade that works with practically everything.

This definitely isn’t the kind of thing I would normally buy, but I’m really starting to fall in love with embroidery so what can I say? I absolutely love the contrast between the bright colours and the black, and I just think that this would be a great top for autumn! It’s great for a ‘nice top and jeans’ dress code too. I really like it paired with a leather jacket to contrast the romantic look with something a little more edgy, and this oxblood colour is just to die for. Unfortunately I bought this jacket ages ago from All Saints and they no longer sell this style or colour, but they do have another jacket that comes pretty close in style.

I know what you’re thinking, “Amy, why on earth are you holding your phone like that in this picture?”. Well, honestly I was just getting bored of my face (and I was using my phone to operate my camera and I couldn’t be bothered to put it down). Nevertheless, this jumper is super soft, cute and an incredible bargain. Burgundy is one of the few colours that I wear other than black, white and grey, and it’s such a great colour that I want to wear it all A/W long. Thank you, Zara.

My absolute favourite item of the entire haul. Super long cardigans are really in for autumn, and I love how oversized and comfy this one is. It’s perfect for transitioning into colder weather as it’s great for keeping you warm when it’s not cold enough to need a coat. It’s also a great statement piece and will complete any outfit as soon as you put it on – honestly I can’t tell you how much I love it. I mean, is £50 a ridiculous amount of money to spend on a cardigan? Yes. But was it worth it? 100%.

I strongly believe that cardigans are the answer to most problems. They go with pretty much everything, and are an essential for transitioning into autumn. Plus when they’re as cute as this, come in khaki and are only £15.99, you really can’t go wrong.

Oh look, another Zara item. I actually included this dress on my Autumn Wishlist and quickly realised I couldn’t live without it… so I bought it. I never normally wear dresses but I just love how floaty this is, and the print is stunning. I would ideally pair this with a pair of biker boots (and, let’s face it, a leather jacket) but since I currently don’t have any I had to make do with black suede boots. If you do know of any good biker boots please send me some recommendations!

I love a pair of tan suede boots for autumn, and when I saw these ones from Next I knew I had to have them. They make every outfit look a little more fashionable, and the slight heel is perfect for giving an extra bit of height whilst still remaining comfortable. I really love the western-vibe too, they’re just gorgeous!

So that was my autumn haul and lookbook, although it definitely ended up feeling more like a Zara haul (we all knew it was going to happen)! I hope you guys enjoyed this post, let me know in the comments what item you liked best. See you next time,

A x

I’m obsessing over everything in this haul, what a fab collection of clothes! The dress, boots and burgundy jumper have to be my fave. Like seriously I think I might have to get that dress! I really love mustard and burgundy for autumn/winter too, I’m always drawn towards burgundy clothes I have a slight obsession. But I’m definitely on the hunt for the perfect mustard jumper this year!

I’m literally loving every single thing in this Lookbook and you’ve now made me want to head to Zara for a new Autumnal wardrobe, haha. My favourite thing has got to be the floral dress, I don’t think it’d suit me but it looks absolutely amazing on you! I love the way you’ve styled everything as well, it’s casual and simple yet looks fab.
