My Favourite Summer Lipsticks

Whilst I’m a typically a nude-lip kind of girl (other than the occasional berry in A/W), I’m always excited to pull out my range of corals when the weather gets warmer. I don’t typically wear a huge amount of lipstick during summer, so I don’t actually have that many favourites. But nevertheless, here they are!

CHANEL ROUGE COCO SHINE IN ‘FLIRT’

This lipstick is so perfect for summer – it’s a gorgeous pink-coral with tiny flecks of gold glitter that looks incredible with a tan. I love that this has a really glossy finish, and although it’s pretty sheer it definitely packs a punch of colour.

COLOURPOP ULTRA BLOTTED LIP IN ‘DOOZY’

This is one of my favourite lipsticks that I own. ‘Doozy’ is a beautiful posie-pink shade that works so well in summer, and it’s thin, ‘blotted’ formula means that it looks really lightweight and delicate on the lips. Although this has a matte finish, this is really comfortable to wear and doesn’t dry my lips out at all!

CHARLOTTE TILBURY K.I.S.S.I.N.G LIPSTICK IN ‘PENELOPE PINK’

This is the perfect warm-toned nude that looks gorgeous during summer, and it’s creamy, satin formula makes it super easy to wear. The neutral colour of this means that it can be dressed up for the evening or kept natural for daytime, so it’s a really versatile lipstick to have in your collection.

BOURJOIS SWEET KISS LIPGLOSS IN ‘SANDSATION’

Although this is a gloss, I love it so much for summer I had to include it in this list! It’s a true peach shade that is surprisingly pigmented, and it’s really easy to throw on and have a quick, summery look. It also promises to keep your lips hydrated for ten hours which I definitely believe as it’s a super creamy and moisturising formula – without being sticky!

NARS SHEER LIPSTICK IN ‘DOLCE VITA’

This is another favourite lipstick of mine, it actually works for any season but it’s sheer finish makes it extra perfect for summer. This is a true ‘your lips but better’ shade, and it matches any and every look. It feels a lot like a balm too, which makes it perfect for keeping your lips hydrated in the sun.

MAC LIPSTICK IN ‘CORAL BLISS’

I’m a sucker for a good coral lipstick, and this is definitely one of the best out there. Everybody knows how awesome MAC lipsticks are, and this one is no different. It’s a cremesheen which is one of my favourite finishes – it’s so amazingly pigmented whilst still feeling super creamy.

NARS SATIN LIPSTICK IN ‘NIAGARA’

This is probably my most used lipstick during summer, it’s just the most perfect shade! It’s a bright pink-coral with a satin finish that looks amazing with a tan and is so easy to wear. NARS do some of my favourite lipsticks, and this is an especially awesome one.

Lovely post! I feel the same way, I love wearing coral shades in summer. I really love Crosswires by Mac and Mars by Color Pop (which is a really pretty red pink color) xx Brynn

Gorgeous choice of colours! I tend to gravitate to nude lipsticks, but I love wearing oranges in the summer, it’s so nice to switch things up a bit!xx
