Fenty Beauty became majorly popular in the last few months of 2017 and I had been wanting to try a product from the brand ever since they launched. I was lucky enough to get the Stunna Lip Paint for Christmas, which I was so excited about, so I thought I’d review it for you guys!
There’s currently only one shade of this lip paint, ‘Uncensored’, which promises to be everybody’s perfect red. Of course, I was a little sceptical about this claim so I had to try it out for myself.
I love red lipstick but up until this point I still hadn’t found the perfect one with amazing undertones that suited my skin tone, so I had very high hopes that this would finally be the lipstick I was looking for.
This packaging is really stunning and very luxurious, it sort of reminds me of a nail varnish and would look absolutely gorgeous displayed on your vanity.
One of my favourite things about this is the applicator – it looks really weird but it applies lipstick perfectly and makes it super easy to get the corners of your lips. It also picks up the perfect amount of product – I only need one dip to apply this completely!
The formula is definitely more watery than I expected of a liquid lip and it doesn’t dry down all the way which I actually prefer because it doesn’t dry out my lips. This will transfer if you aren’t careful, but I don’t find this to be too much of a problem (unless I’m eating and then it usually gets on my chin).
Although this isn’t transfer-proof it will pretty much last all day – I wore it on Christmas Day and it lasted through all of my eating. The only thing I would say is that you definitely need a lip liner with this; when I’ve worn it on its own it tends to bleed but a lip liner would totally prevent that.
The matte finish is absolutely beautiful, it almost looks velvet but still has life to it and doesn’t look dull or overly dry.
I actually would agree with Rihanna and say that this is my perfect red – I was worried it looked a little orange-toned in the bottle but on my lips it becomes a lot deeper and more of a cranberry shade. I got my mum to try it out too (she’s slightly more tanned than me) and it looked really vivid and bright on her, so I totally believe that this red works to fit every skin tone!
Overall I absolutely love this lipstick, and I’m so grateful that I got it for Christmas and was finally able to try out Fenty Beauty! This lipstick is £19, which I think is really reasonable for a liquid lipstick from such a high quality brand. If you’re a red lipstick lover then you definitely need to check this out.
I need to try more from Fenty Beauty now, I really hope they bring out more shades of this lip paint too! If you’ve tried other Fenty products then I’d love to know which things you think I should try next!
I hope you guys enjoyed this review, let me know what you think of this lipstick and whether you’ll be picking it up in the future. See you next time,
A x

Thank you!
Oh my, this looks absolutely gorgeous! That packaging too – definitely reminds me of a nail polish too!
Love that it doesn’t dry down completely as I hate it when liquid lipsticks completely dry out my lips too. Definitely need to try it; been wanting to try something from her range for a while now! x

I’m yet to try a product(s) from the Fenty Beauty range although I’m dying too as I’ve only heard great things! I really love that colour too, it actually is the most perfect red for your skintone! I will definitely be exploring the range soon!
