Fuller Lips Without Injections? ft. PMD Kiss

Big lips seem to be a trend that just isn’t going away, and I have to say I’m not mad at it. Lip injections are more popular than ever, with huge fans such as Kylie Jenner, as well as a whole host of YouTubers, who are clearly loving the trend.

I actually am really intrigued by the idea of lip injections, and I’d be lying if I said I hadn’t done some research into them myself. One of the reasons that I’m interested in lip injections (other than the obvious plumping factor) is because the right side of my lips is way plumper than the left – something I’m constantly annoyed by and would love to even out. So when PMD offered to send me their new PMD Kiss I was so excited to finally have the even, plump lips of my dreams.

The PMD Kiss is an electronic plumping system that uses pulses to safely plump your lips (no burst blood vessels or Kylie Lip Challenge disasters here!). If you haven’t heard of PMD before, they created the Personal Microderm Device which I absolutely fell in love with – so of course I had high hopes with this product!.

This device claims to keep your lips plumped and full for 3-5 hours, as well as being anti-ageing and reducing fine lines around the mouth. It comes with two different size Plumping Tips (so it works for both thin and fuller pouts) as well as a Smart Lip Plumping Serum that you apply before you start the treatment. It also has two different settings, the standard setting for a quick plump and the low speed for a more intense, targeted plump, meaning that you can customise this device to fit your needs.

The PMD Kiss uses patent-pending Pulsating Vacuum Technology to safely plump your lips in three minutes, with results lasting 3-5 hours.

This nifty and fun device increases blood flow to the lips whilst enhancing collagen production, leaving you with a fuller, more youthful pout. The PMD Kiss comes with a specially formulated Smart Lip Plumping Serum, formulated with hyaluronic acid and a blend of powerful ingredients, to use alongside the device.

I definitely found this device incredibly easy and quick to use, and I do think I can see my lips looking quite a bit plumper (especially in the photo below). I used the low speed for my entire lips as I felt like they needed all the help that they could get, but I do like that there’s the faster speed which could be handy to top up a bit throughout the day.

I think my lips look a little more even after using the PMD Kiss, and my bottom lip definitely looks a lot fuller, but I do wish that this plumped up my lips even more. I think that this might work better for lips that are already slightly full, as the device could latch onto my lower lip really easily but my it struggled a bit with my thinner top lip – maybe an even smaller plumping tip would be helpful?

Looking at the picture below, however, I definitely am impressed with the results and it has made my lips look a lot fuller and even. I do wish the results lasted for a bit longer on me though, as my lips had pretty much returned to normal size after about two hours – but I think this would work really well for an event or photoshoot.

So sorry for the awful quality of this picture, but my camera wasn’t quite capturing the fullness of my lips and this photo does the device much more justice!

I definitely want to continue to use this device and see if it works even better over time as it boosts collagen. Although I wish it kept my lips plumper for longer, I do really like how easy this device is to use (and it’s small enough to fit in your handbag!), plus the results were pretty impressive. I especially love that you can use this as often as you like and it’s completely safe – I might try using a few more pulses next time and seeing if that makes my lips fuller and last longer! I definitely would recommend this if you already have slightly full lips but want to make them plumper, however if you have very thin lips you might struggle to get proper suction with this device.

The PMD Kiss retails for £125, which is very pricey but when compared to the price of multiple lip injections it definitely doesn’t seem that bad! If you’re interested in trying out this device, you can get it here.

I hope you guys enjoyed this post, let me know in the comments what your thoughts are on the PMD Kiss! See you next time,

A x

This is so cool! I’ve always been intrigued to see what my lips would look like if they were a little fuller and this would be perfect! I love that it’s completely safe so you can use it as often as you want as well.

That is quite pricey! but like you say, compared to multiple injections it could be a good investment!
