I’ve wanted to try the GLAMGLOW masks for the longest time, but I was always a little put off by the price – so you can imagine how excited I was when GLAMGLOW offered to send me a sample of one of their masks!

I was sent the Supermud Clearing Treatment Mask, which I was initially adamant that I wouldn’t like as it specifically says it’s not for sensitive skin and seems to cater more towards oily skin types. However, I was still curious to try it out and see if I could be swayed.

The first thing I noticed about this mask was that it smelled exactly like licorice, which made me really happy because I love licorice! It has a nice texture that’s not too thick or too watery, however I did notice that I was finding pieces of twigs in it which was very bizarre – at least it makes it feel more natural I guess! Although this specifically says it’s not to be used on sensitive skin, I didn’t have any irritation to the mask which I was really happy about.

This is definitely best applied in a really thin layer; when done this way you can actually see the oil being pulled out of your pores which is both really gross and really awesome at the same time. I noticed this happened to me most on my nose as this is one of the few areas of my face that gets a little oily, but I’m sure on oily/combination skin this would have even better results!

After removing the mask I immediately noticed that my pores looked smaller and the blackheads around my nose were pretty much nowhere to be seen. Although this result didn’t last for too long, I’m pretty sure after continued use you could get pretty long-lasting results.

I’ve only used this mask once so far but I’m definitely sold, I think I might have to even buy the full size! It’s also made me really want to try the Gravitymud and Thirstymud even more, so I might have to buy the sample set to try them all out!

I hope you guys enjoyed this post, let me know in the comments what your thoughts are on GLAMGLOW and whether or not you’d like to try this mask! See you next time,

A x

The mask sounds really lovely! It’s a shame it didn’t work as well for you as you had a different skin type, but it’s good that you would be willing to repurchase or try more masks from the brand. Great review xx

They sent me one too which looked almost like it had seeweed in it! I loved it but I agree that the prices are just a little out of my range 🙈

This mask sounds really nice! I received a sample of the black one which sounds pretty similar to this too! I’m tempted to buy the mini set to test them all too!
