I’ve been trying to get more into face masks lately – I’ve always enjoyed them, but I’ve recently been doing a couple a week and the difference in my skin is insane.
Since I have super dry, super sensitive skin I have to be careful with the masks I use, especially when it comes to purifying masks. When Green People reached out and offered to send me their charcoal mask, I already knew that this would finally be the purifying mask that worked for my skin – none of their products have ever caused me any irritation, so I basically trust them with my life.
I was initially very surprised at the consistency of this mask, it’s a lot thicker than I anticipated but I actually really love that. You barely need to use any to get an even layer (I love it when a little goes a long way), and you don’t have to worry about it dripping everywhere either.
One of my favourite things about this mask is that as it dries you can actually see the oil being drawn out of your pores – kind of gross, I know, but I love knowing that it’s actually working.
I’ve used this mask a few times now and my skin is already looking so much clearer. I apply this about once a week, it really helps to detoxify my skin and make my pores appear smaller without making my skin super dry.
As with all Green People products, I love knowing that it’s cruelty-free, vegan and mostly organic – the jar is also recyclable, so you’re doing something good for your skin and the planet! If you want to try out this mask then you can grab one for yourself on the Green People website for £21.
I hope you guys enjoyed this post, let me know what you think of the mask in the comments! See you next time,
