January is almost over, which means it’s time for my first favourites post of 2017! This month has gone surprisingly quickly, and it’s scary how fast we’re working our way through the year. However, there are so many exciting things coming up in 2017, so I look forward to welcoming each new month! Without further ado, here’s my January Favourites.
Coach Sierra Bag
I got this for Christmas from my wonderful parents, and I’m so in love with it. It’s definitely a staple item, and it’s simple, chic design makes it pretty timeless. This bag literally works with everything, and I love the contrast of the patent leather that makes it a little more edgy and totally unique – if I could make this bag my favourite every month, I would!
NARS Sheer Lipstick in ‘Dolce Vita’
I’ve actually owned this lipstick for about a year, but I recently rediscovered it and absolutely fell in love with it. It’s a gorgeous dusty-rose shade that works with every skin tone, plus it’s sheer finish makes it super easy to throw on and wear throughout the day. This has definitely been a staple of mine this month, and I can see myself using it a ton throughout spring.
Too Faced Flatbuki Brush
I received this Too Faced brush in my January Look Incredible Box, and it was immediately my favourite product in the box. This is thin enough to contour the hollows of my cheeks perfectly, plus it looks so cute and it’s super soft! It also works really well for setting my under eyes, so it’s really versatile!
The Kind Worth Killing – Peter Swanson, The Girls – Emma Cline
I got both of these books for Christmas – I’d been wanting to read The Kind Worth Killing for a while, however The Girls was a surprise from my Mum and a book that I hadn’t heard about before. I absolutely loved both of these; The Kind Worth Killing is a thriller about a man and a stranger plotting to kill his cheating wife and The Girls is the story of a young woman who joins a Manson-like cult. I couldn’t put either of these down, and if you’re obsessed with thrillers and murder-related books, like myself, then I’d definitely recommend these!
I talked about this face brush recently in my updated skincare routine post (which you can read here if you haven’t already!), so I won’t go into too much detail, however the Foreo has completely saved my skin. I was suffering from a combination of really oily and really dry skin, plus a bunch of hard and painful bumps along my jawline – I started using this and within three days my skin had completely improved and become softer than it had been in years! I can’t be without my Foreo now, and I would definitely recommend it to everybody.
So those were my first favourites of the year! I hope you enjoyed this post, let me know in the comments what your January Favourites are. See you next time,
