Jouer Blush Bouquet Palette REVIEW

I had my 20th birthday just over a week ago and I was super stoked when my friend got me this palette as a gift. Ever since this blush palette launched I’ve heard nothing but good things, so I was desperate to try it out for myself.

This is actually the first time I’ve ever tried anything from Jouer, but from how much they’re raved about I knew I should have high expectations.

As soon as I opened this I was immediately taken with the packaging – the pink and gold combined with the floral design is so pretty and feminine, and it definitely has a spring vibe to it. I feel like this would be the perfect blush duo to use on your wedding day!

The sturdy metal packaging has a serious high-quality feel, and I love the awesome sized mirror that you get with it. The size of the pans is great too, I doubt I’ll be running out of this any time soon.

I have the shade ‘Adore’, which is perfect for a peachy-nude blush lover like me. This gives the perfect amount of colour without being too in your face, making it a great blush duo for anyone with fair skin.

I love that this palette comes with a slightly darker, peachier nude and a paler pink-nude, giving you options depending on the kind of makeup look you’re doing. I personally love mixing both shades together to create the perfect spring blush.

Both of these blushes have a nice amount of pigment without being too intense, so you can easily build up colour in a natural way. They also blend into the skin super easily and have a beautiful, skin-like finish – not powdery or chalky at all. I’m really impressed with the wear time too – I usually don’t expect a powder blush to last all day but these do!

My favourite thing about this blush is that you have a matte and a satin finish, so it kind of gives you every blush you’d need in just one palette. I find mixing them together gives a beautiful glow without being overly shimmery – they’re seriously my dream blushes!

Overall I’m completely obsessed with this blush duo. I’m so impressed with the formula and colour payoff, and it’s definitely made me want to try more Jouer products in the future! This palette retails for £25, which I think is completely reasonable given the quality, brand and size of the blushes.

I hope you guys enjoyed this post, let me know in the comments what you think of this blush palette and whether you’ll be picking one up for yourselves! See you next time,

-A x
