July Favourites 2016

I say this every time but I seriously cannot believe the month of July is already over! But, as always, with the end of each month comes a new bunch of favourites, and although there weren’t loads of products I was obsessing over this past month, there were a few that I was really impressed with.

Sephora Pomegranate Eye Mask – $5 (around £3)

I’ve recently been obsessed with these eye masks from Sephora, they’re so great for brightening my dark circles (which I have pretty much everyday) and de-puffing my undereye area for a better make-up application. They do have a range of types of eye masks that all have different properties, but my personal favourite is this pomegranate one which is anti-fatigue and energizing, because it really wakes me up and brightens my eyes.

Sephora Outrageous Volume Mascara – $3-$12 (£2-£9)

This mascara was one of the testers I got when I was in the Sephora in Mexico – if you haven’t been to Sephora before you always get three testers when you buy something, which is awesome! I love this mascara because it’s volumizing and lengthening in one product, and it keeps my lashes curled all day long. It’s also super black, which I love, and I’m definitely going to have to pick up another one from the Sephora website because I’m almost all out!

NARS Velvet Matte Lip Pencil in ‘Walkyrie’ – £20

I’m a huge fan of NARS products – which if you’ve read my blog before you’ll definitely know – and this lip pencil is no exception. It’s a beautiful dusty red-brown shade which has just enough red in it to not wash me out, and also is perfect for the 90s trend that doesn’t seem to be going anywhere quickly. I also love how matte this lip pencil is without being super drying, the formula is perfect and I’m totally obsessed.

Maybelline Color Tattoo 24HR Eyeshadow in ‘On and On Bronze’ – £4.99

This cream eyeshadow is honestly incredible, especially because of the amazing price tag. Not only is it a beautiful bronze shade, it’s also super pigmented, and although I’m not sure it lasts a full 24 hours (I’ve never tested that out!), it definitely lasts all day without budging! They do have a lot of other shades too, but this bronze shade is definitely my favourite.

St. Tropez Gradual Tan Everyday Tinted Body Lotion – £15

I’ve always been a little wary of fake tan, I’ve seen the horror stories of patchy and streaky legs and always tried to steer clear of that. However, being as pale as I am I also try to find ways of giving myself at least a bit of a glow, and luckily this foolproof product is the answer to all of my fake tan prayers. This product from St. Tropez is like a tinted moisturiser, giving colour when it’s applied so that you can see that you’ve hit every area of your body, as well as giving you an instant glow, plus it’s a moisturiser so you don’t have to worry about any dry patches! However, this is also a gradual tan, so it develops over several hours after you’ve applied the product, giving you a beautiful, streak-free tan.

Morphe 35T Palette – £18.99

I’ve seen so many make-up gurus who are obsessed with the Morphe 35 eyeshadow palettes, more specifically the 35O Palette. Although I couldn’t get my hands on the 35O Palette (it’s almost always out of stock!) I did manage to get the beautiful 35T palette, which is full of gorgeous plum, taupe and bronze shades. I’m obsessed with this palette for so many reasons: it’s great value for money, all of the shades are amazing, the formula of every shade is also incredible; there is honestly no way you can not love this palette. Let me know if you guys would be interested in seeing a full swatch and review of this palette and I’ll get right on it!

So those were my July favourites! I hope you enjoyed this post, and let me know in the comments what your July favourites were!
