La Roche-Posay Hydreane BB Creme REVIEW

Although La Roche-Posay is not a brand I have ever used, it is one I have heard very positive reviews about, so I was incredibly excited to test this BB Cream out! I was especially excited as the brand caters towards sensitive skin, of which I am unfortunately a culprit of.

I’m a huge lover of BB creams and tinted moisturisers, as I don’t often need a lot of coverage but I do like to make my skin look as flawless as possible whilst still remaining natural. This BB cream retails at £15.00, which isn’t too pricey for a slightly more up market but still high street product.

The BB cream promises to moisturise, soothe and protect the skin, proved by its slightly thicker than a usual BB cream consistency, which is great for the winter months when we all want more coverage and moisture. It’s also hypo-allergenic, which is again great for any sensitive-skinned girls like myself.

I got this BB cream in the shade light, perfect for my fair complexion, however there is also a medium shade for slightly darker skin tones. One complaint I would have is there isn’t a huge range of colours, as there is nothing particularly catered for darker skin tones, with the medium shade still being quite light. Despite this, the consistency is easily blendable and applies very smoothly, however it is a little thick for my liking, which is fine for the colder months, but I don’t think I’ll use it as much during summer as I prefer something lighter. This would be brilliant for dry skin, as the hydrating properties keep skin moisturised throughout the entire day, and although I won’t be using this when the weather gets warmer, I will continue to keep enjoying it through these colder winter months!
