Look Incredible Box August 2016 REVIEW

Another month, another beauty box! I always get so excited when the new Look Incredible box is delivered, it never fails to exceed my expectations and it’s so much fun being surprised each month with great products! If you haven’t heard of Look Incredible before, they are a monthly beauty box subscription service which actually offer two different types of boxes. The standard box, which I get, is £18.99 a month plus shipping, but they also have the deluxe box which is £35 a month including shipping and offers slightly more expensive brands, however both boxes give five full-sized products every month.

This month’s box had an incredible £93.98 worth of beauty products – and really awesome products too – which is such incredible value for money because you’re saving around £70! August’s box is definitely my favourite box we’ve had so far, there isn’t one product I don’t love, plus there’s some really great brands this month! I also want to say that I’m a huge fan of the new look of the box, I love the gold and black colour scheme and the ribbons make a cute touch.

bareMinerals Ready Eyeshadow 4.0 in ‘The Soundtrack’ – £25

Being a sucker for bronze eyeshadow palettes, this product is probably my favourite from the box. The colours in this are stunning, with three shimmers and one matte, all in gorgeous, warm, golden shades that are the kind I wear all day, everyday. Another great thing about this quad is how beautifully pigmented and creamy the shadows are, I seriously can’t wait to use this!

NARS Pure Sheer Lip Treatment in ‘Paloma’ – £15

Another great product in this month’s box is this lip balm from NARS. If you’ve been on my blog before you’ll know I’m a little obsessed with all things NARS, so receiving one of their products in my beauty subscription box is a real treat. I really love lip balms, so I’m sure I’ll get a lot of use out of this product, and I love that it has a sheer peach tint so that I can wear it on it’s own without sacrificing my make up look.

Benefit Ultra Shines Lip Shine Gloss Haute in ‘Back to the Fuchsia’ – £9.99

The next product I got in this box was this lip gloss from Benefit, which I have to admit I was at first a little intimidated by. I like a lot of Benefit’s products, but I wasn’t a fan of this Barbie-pink, sparkly lip gloss until I actually tried it on and found that it didn’t look anywhere near as pink on my lips as it did in the tube, which I was thrilled about because I’m really not a lover of anything pink. This is a very sparkly lip gloss, so I think I’d stick to wearing it on top of a lipstick in the evening, but it’s a really nice addition to this month’s box.

Fusion Beauty Primer – £24.99

This isn’t a brand I’ve ever come across before, but I do love a good brightening primer so I’m excited to try this out! Not only is this brightening, it also promises to blur imperfections, decrease the appearance of pores and colour correct, which sounds pretty great to me. This is a very welcome addition to this month’s box, because I’ve been on the lookout for a new primer, so I can’t wait to give this one a go and see how it fares in comparison to my other primers.

Ooh! Organic Argan Moisture Retention Face Oil – £19

The final product in this month’s box is from another brand I haven’t heard of, but I’ve been wanting to try a facial oil out for a while now so I’m really excited to use this. Facial oils have recently become super popular, being used as a moisturiser or something to mix into your foundation or cream contour, so I’m interested to see what the hype is all about. This one contains argan oil, one of the most popular oils at the moment alongside coconut oil, so it’s sure to be incredibly moisturising.

So that’s it for this month’s box! I can confidently say that this was definitely my favourite box so far, I really loved every product and now I can’t wait to see what products are in next month’s box!

Let me know in the comments what your thoughts are on this month’s box, and what you hope to see in next month’s!
