Look Incredible Box May 2016 REVIEW

As some of you may remember, I had a 3-month subscription with Glossybox that ended in March and I decided not to renew it because I personally didn’t feel like it was worth the money. I recently decided to try out another Beauty Box, Look Incredible, which I’ve been wanting to try for a very long time. Look Incredible have two different subscription options, the normal beauty box which is £18.99 a month plus shipping, and the deluxe box which is £35 a month including shipping. I chose to get the normal beauty box, however if I’m super impressed by this then I might have to grab the deluxe addition too!

I was so impressed with my first ever Look Incredible Beauty Box, it’s on a whole other level to any other beauty box subscription service I’ve ever tried. Although this box is about £9 more than Glossybox, you get a whole lot more for your money! In each monthly box you get five full-sized products, with this month’s box being worth £86, which is so awesome! I actually feel like we got seven products this month, because we got three nail varnishes as “one product”, so that’s really cool.

Bellapierre Kabuki Brush – £22.50

The first product I received in this month’s box was this kabuki brush from Bellapierre, which isn’t a brand I normally buy from so it’s nice to try something new. I always love getting brushes in beauty boxes because I don’t think you can ever have enough, and this one cost more than the actual box did! It’s also super soft and feels pretty good quality, so I know I’m going to get a lot of use out of this.

Claire’s Nail Polish – £3 each or £9

The next products I got in my box are these three Claire’s nail varnishes. I have to say I thought a Claire’s product was a little odd and is definitely not something I would ever buy for myself, but these top coats are actually really pretty! Every subscriber received a gold diamond glitter top coat, a rainbow sprinkle top coat and a silver/pearl glitter top coat, all of which are very unique and are a lot of fun to play around with – plus it’s really nice to get three different products as one!

MAC Patent Polish Lip Pencil – £17.50

I was so excited to find a MAC product in this box, it’s so rare to find such a well-known brand like MAC in a beauty box so this was an awesome surprise! This lip pencil/lip gloss has the signature MAC lip product scent of vanilla, and I got the shade “Spontaneous” which is a really beautiful deep berry colour with a glossy, sheer finish, perfect for Spring. I have to say I absolutely love this product and can see myself using it most days for a more natural, pretty look.

bareMinerals Blush – £22

This is another product which really impressed me because I love a lot of bareMinerals products, so to get a blush in my beauty box is awesome! I got the shade “The French Kiss”, which I don’t love as a blush purely because it’s a very bright, hot pink which doesn’t really suit my fair skin. However, I have been wanting an eye shadow in this shade for ages, so I’ll definitely be using this product for that because it’s such a pretty colour and super pigmented!

Korres Eye Primer – £15

The final product I got in my box is this Korres Eye Primer, which can be used all over the eye area, including under the eye, ensuring smooth, crease-proof make-up application. This is a really great addition to this month’s box, I think, because it’s not a product that I actually own so I’m super excited to try it out! I also don’t have any products from Korres either, so I’m really excited to try out a whole new brand!

So that’s everything I got in this month’s box! I have to say I absolutely love this box, it had such amazing products and I can’t wait to see what’s in next month’s box!
