Look Incredible Box November 2016 REVIEW

If you are a frequent visitor of my blog you may have noticed that I haven’t done a Look Incredible Beauty Box post in a while, this is because I actually haven’t bought any since August as I’ve been prioritising my money on other things for the blog, so I couldn’t afford it. But thankfully I’ve restarted my subscription, and I couldn’t wait to get my hands on this month’s box!

If you haven’t heard of Look Incredible before, they are a monthly beauty box subscription service which actually offer two different types of boxes. The standard box, which I get, is £18.99 a month plus shipping, but they also have the deluxe box which is £35 a month including shipping and offers slightly more expensive brands, however both boxes give five full-sized products every month.

This month’s box had £69.99 worth of beauty products, and although I don’t think this is the best box I’ve had so far (I’ll get onto why later), there are some products in this box that really excited me! Let’s get onto what I received.

Spa Retreats Indulgence Moisturising Body Cream – £16

The first product I received was this body cream, which initially I was pretty happy with because you can’t have enough moisturiser at this time of year, right? However, upon further inspection I found out that this has rose oil as one of it’s main ingredients – I personally hate the scent of rose so I’ll definitely be giving this away to someone who I know will appreciate it more. I’m sure this would be a great item for anyone who likes rose-scented products, but it’s just not for me.

Fresh Sugar Lip Treatment – £19

I was so excited to receive this item in this month’s box; I’ve been lusting over this lip balm for as long as I can remember, it’s always raved about by so many beauty bloggers so I’m very happy to finally have one myself! I’ve already tried this out and it feels so incredibly moisturising and luxurious, plus this is a super expensive product so I love that we received it in this beauty box!

Lord & Berry 20100 Shiny Lipstick Crayon in ‘Diva’ – £10

I don’t own anything from Lord & Berry but I’ve been wanting to try out a few things from this brand for a while, and what better product to get in a November box than this beautiful dark lipstick which is perfect for autumn. This is a stunning deep plum-wine shade with a glossy finish, which I actually love as it softens the look a little bit. I’m super happy with this item, and I’ll definitely be using this a lot throughout this season.

Korres Colour Sunflower & Primrose Eyeshadow in ‘Brown-Bronze’ – £10

I’m always a sucker for a bronze eyeshadow, so this was a welcome addition to this month’s box. This feels like a really good quality eyeshadow – it’s super creamy and pigmented – plus you get quite a lot of product so this will definitely last me a long time, I’m super happy with this item!

No7 Lift & Luminate Day & Night Serum – £14.99

The last product I received was this set of anti-ageing serums from No7, another item I was a little disappointed by as I don’t really need this type of product. This is supposed to reduce the look of wrinkles and diminish the appearance of age spots which is something I don’t really suffer with (yet), so I’ll be gifting away this product too.

Overall, the three products I received in this box that I actually will use are really awesome, possibly some of the best items I’ve gotten so far in a Look Incredible box. However, I was a little disappointed with the other two items as they aren’t something that I would use. I wish Look Incredible had some sort of profile system so that you could give simple information about yourself and what you like and they could then tailor some of the products to you, however I’m still happy with the quality of products you get for the price, so I’ll definitely stay subscribed!

Let me know in the comments what you thought of this month’s box. See you next time!

The bronze eyeshadow is so pretty! Definitely want to find a colour like that 🙂
