Love Cocoa Review

I, like many others, have a huge love for chocolate. So when I was contacted by James Cadbury of Love Cocoa to review some of his chocolate bars I, of course, jumped at the chance. And yes, you are reading that correctly. James Cadbury, the great-great-great-grandson of the famous chocolatier John Cadbury, has continued in his ancestors footsteps and created his own brand of chocolate, so obviously it’s going to be incredible.

Before we go onto the chocolates themselves, let me talk a little about the brand. Love Cocoa launched last year, and is a completely innovative idea in the way that you order these bars online, and the packaging is small enough to go straight through your letterbox without needing a signature. This makes it the perfect gift as you don’t have to worry about the recipient missing the package – but is also a great treat for yourself to come home to after a long day at work. This also delivers the next day, which makes it the easiest chocolate delivering company out there.

My favourite part of the brand, however, is that all the ingredients are completely organic, resulting in amazing quality chocolate. Not only that but, where possible, ingredients are sourced locally and ethically from independent British producers, meaning your sweet tooth is also helping the economy. They also donate 10% of their profits to charity.

I was fortunate enough to receive three bars, a milk chocolate, an Earl Grey and a honeycomb and honey – this is The Milk Letterbox Collection and costs £11.95. Single bars are £4 each, however there are a lot of different collections that cost less than the price of the amount of bars they contain, making them great value for money.

Onto the chocolate bars themselves. The packaging is so cute, I love the designs on them and they feel like such good quality. These taste absolutely incredible, and you can immediately tell that they use great quality ingredients and are so much better than the calibre of chocolates available at the supermarket. They’re a great size too – perfect for sharing or indulging in all on your own.

I have to admit, I’ve already finished the honeycomb bar and I’m halfway through the other two – they just taste so good! I definitely think the Earl Grey flavour is my favourite, as I’m a huge Earl Grey fan anyway and the unique combination is just to die for. I know they have a lot of other flavours available on their website – like Gin and Tonic! – so I’m already planning my next order!

I’m a huge advocate of this brand, I really believe in what they’re doing and the quality of their ingredients, and I can’t wait to see how they grow! I’m also so grateful that James Cadbury reached out to me and sent me some of his amazing chocolate so that I could share my thoughts with you guys! I absolutely love this chocolate and I know I’ll be making frequent orders for myself as well as for friends and family – if you’re interested in checking these chocolate bars out then you can head over to

I hope you enjoyed this post, let me know in the comments what you think of these chocolates and whether you’ve ever tried them out! See you next time,

A x
