I’ve recently become incredibly obsessed with eyeshadow palettes (even more so than usual!), and the MAC Eye Shadow Times Nine went straight onto my want list. This palette comes in five different shades, Burgundy, Amber, Tinashe, Navy and Purple – I have the Burgundy one and it’s stunning. As the name suggests, there are nine different shadows in this palette, so you get a lot of colour options! Although it does look very small, you do get a lot of product and I can imagine this will last you quite a while.
This palette has a beautiful combination of burgundy and bronze-y shades, plus a nice range of matte and shimmer finishes, so you can create a variety of looks. Most of the shades are super pigmented – especially “Antiqued” and “Star Violet” which are my favourites! – but I find the formula of “Honey Lust” to be a little bit chalky and not as creamy as the others, which is a shame because I was really excited about that one! The more shimmery shades do have a little bit of fallout, but personally I’m not particularly bothered by this as it’s something that’s pretty common with most shimmers. My tip for this is to apply your eye make-up first, and then use tape to pick up any fallout before applying your foundation.
I really love this eyeshadow palette, it has a perfect range of shades and finishes to take you from day to night! For the size it is a little expensive, £30 to be exact, but it will last you a good while, and the shades are too pretty to pass up! You can buy this palette here.
