March Favourites 2016

IMG_2105

I can’t believe it’s already the end of March, this month has just flown by! But with every month comes new favourites, and I’m super excited to share with you guys the things I’ve been loving this month. I found this month the majority of things I’ve loved have been more body/skin/hair care based products rather than make up, probably in an attempt to get nice, glowing skin before the weather warms up!  Here are the products I’ve enjoyed using the most this month!

Clarins Exfoliating Body Scrub for Smooth Skin – £30

I have to say this is definitely the best exfoliator I have ever used. I actually was given this product as a gift so I had no idea how expensive it is, but it really is incredible quality. It’s made with bamboo powder which is just big enough to really get rid of any dead skin cells, but not so big that you feel like you’re shredding your skin off! You really don’t need a lot of this product because a little definitely goes a long way, so this should last you quite a while. It is incredibly expensive though, and although I absolutely adore it I might have to purchase something a little cheaper when I run out, because I really don’t think I can justify spending £30 on an exfoliator! If you do want to treat yourself to this product though, you can get it here.

Wilkinson Sword Hydro Silk Razor – £10.50

This is a product that I received in my February Glossybox (you can read that post here!) that I was quite surprised about, and honestly I wasn’t too sure I’d use it that much. I was definitely wrong about that, this is now my new favourite razor! I find that this razor gives me a much closer shave, and that my legs stay smoother for a lot longer. It also leaves my legs feeling pretty soft, which is something I really struggle with because my skin is so dry that shaving can often be pretty painful. I will definitely be sticking to this razor from now on, I’m so glad that Glossybox introduced me to it! If you’re interested, you can get one here.

Schwarzkopf Professional BC Bonacure Repair Rescue Sealed Ends Cream Serum – £13.99

After many months of straightening and curling my hair I was beginning to get so many split-ends it was ridiculous, so I started to hunt for a product that would actually help to nourish my hair rather than just mask my split-ends. I finally found this product, and it’s been like a miracle in a bottle for my hair! I apply a small amount of this to my hair when it’s wet and just brush it through, and when I wake up my hair is super smooth and shiny, plus it feels more nourished. This has now become a staple hair product that I use every other day (it also helps to detangle!) and I have no idea how I could live without it! Buy it here.

Ciaté Speed Coat Fast Dry Top Coat – £12

I first tried out a mini version of this top coat from a magazine, and I absolutely fell in love! It took me quite a while to run out, but when I did I went into a complete state of panic and had to buy another one immediately, that’s how amazing this product is. This polish keeps my nails always looking shiny, and it never chips! I apply it at the start of the week, and by the end of the week my nails are still looking absolutely perfect no matter how many times I’ve washed my hands or done something else that could damage my manicure, it’s insane! I seriously cannot rave enough about this product, you should definitely go get it.

Balmi Mini Mint Lip Balm

I really love lip balm, especially mint-flavoured ones because they make me feel so fresh! I actually have no idea what the cost of this lip balm is though (I was bought it as a gift for my birthday and I can’t find it anywhere!) but I do know that the full-sized lip balms are £4.99, so it should be somewhere under that price. I have just managed to recover my lips – I was one of the unfortunate few whose lips were completely damaged by an EOS lip balm – so something this moisturising is definitely a must! This lip balm feels really nice and almost oily, but in a way that feels super light on the lips. I also really love the size of this one, it’s not too bulky and is really easy to just throw in your bag or stick in your pocket. Although I can’t find a link to the mini one, you can get the full-size version of this lip balm for £4.99 here.

Charlotte Tilbury Lip Cheat in Pillowtalk – £16

If you’ve visited my blog before you may have seen my Charlotte Tilbury haul that included this lip liner (if not you should go check it out!), and it really is one of the best lip liners I’ve ever tried. The colour of this is incredible, it’s a pretty universal shade and matches my lips almost completely! It also has a really nice consistency, it’s not too creamy so that it’ll budge but not so hard that it’ll completely tear apart your lips either, it’s the perfect mixture of the two. This is now probably the lip liner that I use the most, because it works with pretty much all of my lipsticks! You can get one for yourself here.

That’s all of my favourites for this month, I hope you enjoyed them! Comment below and tell me some of your favourite products this month, or if you’ve tried any of these products and love them as much as I do!
