May Favourites 2017

Another month has flown by and although I’m sad that we’re pretty much halfway through the year, I’m so happy it’s finally summer! Summer is easily my favourite season, so I’m really excited for the coming months and the (hopefully!) warmer weather.

This month’s favourites actually has a very summery theme which I’m totally loving. I actually have a few more favourites than normal this month – I even had to narrow it down so that this post wouldn’t be too long! So without further ado, here are my favourite things from the month of May.

SUPERNICE VINTAGE CLASSIC ROSE GOLD METAL SUNGLASSES

I’ve been on the lookout for the perfect pair of vintage, boho sunglasses for a while now, and I finally found them! These were a total bargain at only £12, and I love how old-school they look. I bought these from ASOS Marketplace which is totally my new favourite place to shop, you can get so many great vintage and one-of-a-kind pieces for amazing prices! I totally love these sunglasses (almost as much as my Ray-Bans!) and I’m definitely going to be rocking these all throughout summer.

NARS SOFT MATTE COMPLETE CONCEALER IN ‘VANILLA’

If you’ve read my High End Concealer Showdown then you’ll know how in love I am with this concealer. Although it has a matte finish, it doesn’t look cakey or drying on the skin and it actually feels pretty moisturising! The packaging is gorgeous too and it’s compact enough to easily travel with. I can’t praise this concealer enough, it’s definitely become a holy grail for me!

CHARLOTTE TILBURY BEAUTY GLOW INSTANT LOOK IN A PALETTE

I recently reviewed this palette so I won’t go into too much detail, but it’s definitely the perfect all-in-one palette for summer. It makes me look so bronzed and glowy, and really creates the most gorgeous, ‘just got back from vacation’ kind of look. You get three eyeshadows, two blushes, a bronzer and a highlighter in this palette, so it’s the perfect all-you-need palette to travel with! I absolutely love this and I would heavily recommend it to everybody.

WAREHOUSE ASYMMETRIC STRAPPY SANDAL

I’ve been wearing these non-stop since the weather has gotten nicer, and I absolutely love them! They are really simple and delicate and totally work with every outfit, plus they’re super comfortable and soft! I’ll definitely be taking these on holiday with me this year, I can see them looking so cute with a maxi dress in the evening.

CHARLOTTE TILBURY ‘THE RETOUCHER’ IN ‘1 FAIR’

This was another concealer I talked about in my High End Concealer Showdown post. I love how lightweight this is despite it’s amazing coverage, and it’s the perfect, radiant concealer for ‘no makeup’ makeup days. This is definitely my favourite concealer to use when I want my makeup to look more natural, and I know I’ll be getting lots of use out of it during summer!

PALMER’S COCOA BUTTER FORMULA NATURAL BRONZE GRADUAL TANNING MOISTURISER

I was introduced to this product by my friend Lauren, and I’m so glad she persuaded me to get it! Gradual tans are my favourite form of fake tan, and this one goes on like a dream without streaking. It’s also super moisturising, so it won’t stick to any dry patches or make your knees and elbows darker than the rest of your body. This is definitely my new favourite fake tan, and for just over £5 it’s an absolute bargain!

So those were my favourite products this month! I hope you enjoyed this post, let me know in the comments what some of your favourites were in May. See you next time,

A x
