My NARS Collection

As many of you already know, I am a huge fan of Nars, so I’ve managed to accumulate quite the collection. Personally, I don’t think I have enough – but I’m sure my collection will continue to grow! The majority of products I own I love, and quite a few of them have even become staples, but there are a couple that are a bit hit-and-miss for me. So, I thought I’d talk you through my collection and everything I love – or not so much!

NARS Pure Radiant Tinted Moisturizer in “Terre Neuve” – £29

If you’ve seen my previous blog post where I review this product, you’ll know that I absolutely adore this product – if not you should check it out! My thoughts on this product haven’t changed, I use this everyday because it makes my skin look glowy but natural at the same time. I love that this tinted moisturiser has SPF 30, so you’re protecting your skin whilst wearing your make-up. It’s one of the best tinted moisturisers I’ve tried, you can buy it here!

NARS Audacious Mascara – £21

As I said I love Nars products, unfortunately this is not one of them. I actually received this in the Limited Edition Nars Glossybox, so I didn’t pay full price (thank god!). I’ve never found a mascara that I’ve hated, disliked sure, but this mascara changed the whole game. This made my lashes look spidery but clumpy at the same time, and the formula was just too thin. I also hated the plastic brush with the different sized bristles, really the whole thing was just a mess. You can try it here if you really want, but I definitely would not recommend this mascara!

Nars Radiant Creamy Concealer in “Vanilla” – £22

I think this is my fourth tube of this stuff, this concealer is a cult classic that really is worth the hype. The consistency is creamy and so beautifully blendable, and works for blemishes, highlighting and under-eye concealing. It also does last a very long time without drying out, and just melts into the skin perfectly, I would never use anything else! This really is a miracle product, I would highly recommend you try it if you haven’t already!

Nars Light Reflecting Loose Setting Powder – £27

I’m obsessed with this powder! It’s really finely milled, so you don’t get that chalky look which some translucent powders can give you, and it’s great at keeping my skin mattified throughout the day. This powder also has light reflecting particles in it, so you can still have a glow to your skin whilst remaining matte. I have even got my mum using it, so it suits all ages of skin. I’ve had this powder for a good couple months now and I’m nowhere near through it, so you really do get your money’s worth! I prefer the loose powder, but you can get this in a pressed powder if you’d prefer. Buy it here.

Nars The Multiple in “Orgasm” – £29

This was another product I got in the Limited Edition Nars Glossybox, and I loved this so much I put it in my February Favourites which you can check out to get a full review! This is a really great product because you really can use it a multiple of ways, so the slightly higher price tag can be justified. The colour is absolutely stunning, and the formula gives you the prettiest sheen, buy it here!

Nars Blush in “Orgasm” – £23

This is probably the product that Nars is best known for, and it definitely meets all expectations. I’m a little bit afraid of blush – my skin is just so fair that it kinda makes me look like a porcelain doll! But this blush is absolutely beautiful. This is the sort of universal shade that would work on all skin tones, but isn’t too pigmented so that it would look frightening. It’s also really buildable and easy to blend, so you really can’t make a mistake with this blusher.  This is another product that I received in my Glossybox, but you can buy this product here.

Nars Velvet Matte Lip Pencil in “Dolce Vita” – £19

This is hands down the most stunning lip product I’ve ever owned. It’s a beautiful dusty rose shade, and the velvet formula feels quite moisturising even though it’s a matte lipstick. This also lasts a good while, I’ve eaten big lunches with it and it’s stayed pretty well right through to the end. This is a little pricey – I actually got a smaller one in the Steven Klein Lip Kit – but the shade and formula is so different from anything else I’ve ever tried I would say it’s definitely worth buying.

Nars Satin Lip Pencil in “Rikugien” – £19

This is a much more glossy lip pencil than “Dolce Vita”, which I’m not a huge fan of. The colour is pretty though, a pink-y rose shade, but I don’t think it looks great on my skin tone. I really love how moisturising this lip pencil is, but I don’t get a lot of use out of it purely because the colour just doesn’t really work for me, but I would recommend it for slightly darker skin tones. You can pick one up here.

Nars Sheer Lipstick in “Dolce Vita” – £21

This is a slightly lighter shade than it’s lip pencil counterpart, and is a lot more sheer. I find that this lipstick is great for when I want a more natural look, but I think I would prefer this lipstick in a slightly different finish, like a satin. It is a really beautiful colour though, and it is relatively buildable. This is the perfect lipstick for if you’re transitioning from lip gloss to lipstick, or if you just prefer to wear very little make-up. You can grab it here!

Nars Satin Lipstick in “Niagara” – £21

This the first Nars lipstick I ever got, and I love everything about it. The colour is the prettiest coral shade (the picture really doesn’t do it justice) which is perfect for Spring/Summer, and the satin finish is to die for. I really love satin finish lipsticks, because they’re moisturising and pretty matte at the same time. This is also really pigmented, and the formula is really creamy so it’s really easy to apply. This is a shade I go back to again and again, and I would really recommend that you buy it!

Nars Velvet Lip Liner in “Patong Beach” – £18

This is probably one of the most long-lasting lip pencils I’ve ever used, I literally had to scrub it off of my wrist when I swatched it! It’s a super creamy liner, which I prefer, and is a slightly darker shade than the “Dolce Vita” Lip Pencil. This is the kind of lip liner you could use all over your lips as a product on it’s own, as it’s so pigmented and it has a sort of satin-matte finish. I also really love the fact that this is mechanical, so I don’t have to sharpen it! If you’re interested in trying this out you can buy it here.

Nars Larger Than Life Long-Wear Eyeliner in “Via Veneto” – £19

Nars have managed to create possibly the most intense, blackest black eyeliner I’ve ever owned. This is mechanical, but also comes with a built-in sharpener so you keep the tip pointy. It’s such a pigmented eyeliner that I’m honestly quite shocked that it isn’t gel, the application is so creamy and completely budge-proof. This is the first kohl eyeliner I have ever used to create a cat eye, and it’s almost easier than most liquid/gel liners, plus it lasts forever – it’s still on my wrist from when I swatched it earlier even though I tried to remove it! This is a staple you definitely need, you can get one here.

That’s my entire Nars collection! Even though there are a few products that don’t quite meet my high expectations, the majority of items I have I absolutely adore! Let me know if there are any Nars products that you can’t live without so that I can add them to my ever-growing collection!
