October Favourites 2016

October Favourites 2016

It literally feels like yesterday I was writing my September Favourites, I honestly can’t believe how fast this year is going – I must say though, I’m very excited to be one month nearer to Christmas! I actually found it pretty easy to pick out my favourites this month, here they are!

Processed with Snapseed.

Boohoo Molly Knitted Cardigan

I’m obsessed with this cardigan this month, it’s the perfect colour for autumn and is a really easy way to bring any outfit together. I actually wore this cardigan in my Autumn Lookbook, and it’s just one of my absolute favourite things to wear. Bonus: it’s only £6, so you really can’t go wrong.

Barry M Matte Nail Paint in ‘Crush’

This is one of the prettiest berry shades I own, and it’s perfect for autumn. The matte finish is a great addition to make this nail polish super autumnal, but you can add a glossy topcoat if you prefer that finish. I’ll be wearing this over and over throughout autumn, I especially love this look I created with the polish using the Ciaté Nail Foil Kit.

Lush Mint Julips Lip Scrub

I’ve had Lush Lip Scrubs before and absolutely loved them, but I didn’t buy one for a while because I decided to try and DIY it instead. Eventually I ended up repurchasing it though because none of the recipes I tried were quite as good as the Lush one, plus it’s only £5 which is a bargain for the amount you get!

Revenge Wears Prada

I loved the first book, Devil Wears Prada, and I finally got around to reading the sequel, which is amazing by the way. It’s such a great and easy read, plus it’s so nice to revisit the characters and see how their lives have changed. If you haven’t read it already then I’d definitely recommend it!

No7 Beautiful Skin Cleansing Brush

I got this cleansing brush a year or two ago as a Christmas present, but I didn’t use it for a while because I was in need of a new cleansing head. I recently picked it up again, though, and absolutely fell in love with it all over again! It’s a great option if you’re on a budget and can’t quite afford the Clarisonic (this is £24.95 as opposed to £125!), and although it might not be quite on the level of the Clarisonic, it does a really great job of cleansing my skin and leaving it looking bright and glow-y! I love using it with this Bioré Charcoal Cleanser to really clean out my pores.

So those were my October Favourites! Let me know in the comments what your favourite products were this month. See you next time!
