September Favourites 2017

How is it October already? We’re almost at the end of the year which is ridiculously crazy to me – it’s gone so fast. This has been a pretty hectic month for me as I’ve just started at uni, so here’s hoping I can do well in my degree and keep up with this blog!

Although I hate the colder weather that October brings, I have to admit I do like the cosy vibes. Plus Christmas is right around the corner, so I’m super excited about that.

I didn’t try many new products throughout September, so the majority of my favourites are things I’ve had for a while and have fallen back in love with or just used a ton. Enjoy!

This product goes away during summer and spring but goes straight back into my skincare routine as soon as the weather becomes colder, so of course it’s currently in the circulation. It’s one of the few products that manages to keep my skin happy and hydrated all winter long, so it’s a definite must-have for me.

I stumbled upon this primer completely by accident a couple of weeks ago. I was actually planning on picking up the Angel Veil Primer but spotted this instead and just decided to go for it – let me tell you, I’m so glad I did! I’ve heard that this is a dupe for the Becca Backlight Primer (which I haven’t tried yet but I have just ordered so I’ll keep you updated!) but either way, I truly love this. It actually feels super moisturising and it gives the most gorgeous glow to the skin, my makeup also lasts all day with this so it really ticks all the boxes! I actually prefer this to my Hourglass Ambient Light Correcting Primer – which is pretty major praise – this just goes on way smoother whereas the Hourglass one tends to pill up on my skin. I can’t rave about this primer enough, I 100% recommend it!

I have no idea why it took me so long to try this eyebrow kit, but I’m so glad I finally did. I was actually sent this by Rimmel ages ago but I was so in love with my ABH Dipbrow that I never really reached for it – however I recently wanted to do my brows super fast and just decided to use this. I honestly can’t believe how quick this makes doing your brows, plus the powder is super pigmented but fills your brows really naturally. I don’t tend to reach for the wax much as I prefer just using brow gel, but I would honestly recommend this just for the powder. It’s the perfect dupe for Benefit’s Brow Zings too!

I’m pretty sure I’ve included this in a favourites of mine before, but I just can’t stop using it! It’s amazing as a concealer, but I really love using it all over my face too on days when I can’t be bothered with foundation. This has a really gorgeous finish and super great coverage, plus it doesn’t cake or crease. I love it so much!

I bought this jacket ages ago and I’ve been counting down the days until I could wear it. I’m obsessed with leather jackets, and this colour is just so stunning and perfect for autumn. All Saints is very pricey, but this was definitely an investment piece that I know I’ll get a ton of use out of.

So those were my September favourites! I hope you guys enjoyed this post, let me know in the comments what you’ve been loving this month. See you next time,

A x

That jacket is AMAZING, you pull it off so well! I need it. I also really wanna get that Nyx primer now, I’ve been on the lookout for a new affordable primer and this sounds perfect. I was so excited that you mentioned Brow This Way, I’ve used it for literally years and it’s amazing but I never hear anyone talk about it! Such an underrated product x

That jacket is GORGEOUS! I really want to try some more NYX products as well especially one of their primers! But with oily skin I’ve never tried an illuminating one as I’m usually all about the mattefying products.
