Sézane Wishlist

I’ve seen so many people raving about Sézane recently and I completely understand why, their pieces are so beautiful. Major bonus – they’re also a sustainable brand! With more and more people becoming wary of fast fashion, it’s brilliant to raise awareness of some truly incredible, sustainable brands – although they can often be quite expensive.

I understand why sustainable pieces are more expensive – they’re made of high quality materials with fair labour and will last you many years, so they’re well worth the money. With sustainable fashion, you’re better off buying a few staples less often and building more of a capsule wardrobe, which is what I’m currently trying to do!

I’ve put myself on a bit of a spending ban because I’m really trying to save at the moment, but that doesn’t stop me from adding pieces to my wish list! Unfortunately this list just seems to be getting longer and longer, but (since I can’t buy anything) hopefully you’ll find something on here that you love!

Zora Top

I’ve been after a pretty top with ruffled straps for the longest time, and this is the perfect one. It’s so delicate and flouncy, and would be perfect for a summer day.

It would be great dressed up with a skirt or down with just a pair of jeans, which I think is key when shopping more sustainably – find pieces you can wear multiple ways so you know you’ll get a lot of use out of them!

Malcolm T-Shirt

A basic v-neck tee is such a staple piece, and I’m actually in desperate need of one.

I love the fit of this – it’s not too oversized and baggy but also not really fitted, just perfect for throwing on for a casual look. This tee comes in a range of colours, so you can grab a couple and really be set for any outfit.

Angela Top

I really have a thing for knitted tanks, and I love how simple yet boho this one is. The colour is one of my favourites to wear (although they also have it in cream!) and it’s a really great transitional piece. You can easily throw it over a bikini and pair it with shorts in the summer, then throw a jacket over it for autumn/winter!

The v-neckline in the front and back creates a really flattering silhouette, and although it’s a little bit more of a trendy piece, I think it’s minimalist enough to be pretty timeless.

Wood Top

This top might just be one of my favourites. Yellow is currently the colour I’m loving the most – it’s just so summery and happy!

The ruffle-detail and puff sleeves make it such a feminine blouse, and the neckline is so romantic. I just love how soft and pretty this blouse is, and it’s another piece that can be worn in so many ways and for so many occasions. If it was available in my size I’d be breaking my spending ban for this one!

Diane Jumper

I’ve really been desperate for some v-neck jumpers, and this one checks all the boxes. The colour is just stunning, and the sleeve detail makes this jumper really unique.

The pattern detailing gives this jumper a little something extra, and the chic silhouette means that you could easily dress this up with a skirt or a dress for a more evening-appropriate outfit. The wide sleeves might be my favourite part, I always find them so flattering on a chunky knit!

Yvan Jumper

The classic silhouette makes this jumper a fantastic staple item, but the multi-coloured knit adds a little extra trendiness. The softer colour palette is perfect for transitioning from winter into spring, and is subtle enough to work with a lot of different colours.

I really love the slightly more statement sleeves on this jumper, combined with the puffed shape it creates more of a bohemian look that I’m really into.

Theodora Dress

I have been lusting after this dress for so long, and someday I’ll finally make the leap and just buy it. There’s absolutely nothing I don’t love about it: the lace-up neckline, colour, and parachute silhouette, it’s the perfect dress to throw on and look effortlessly chic.

I could imagine this working so well for every season – you could pair it with sandals in the summer, and a chunky cardigan and boots in the winter. Give me one reason not to buy this dress (please, I’m begging you, I’m really talking myself into buying it here).

Allie Dress

I always dream of swanning about in Santorini in a dress like this, it’s just the most classic maxi. I truly believe having a good maxi in your wardrobe is a must – they’re a summer essential and the comfiest things to wear.

I love the looser fit of this, meaning that it will be fantastic for those hot summer days. It also a has a plunging v at the back which is super flattering, and adds a little extra somethin’ somethin’.

Carolina Skirt

This is the matching skirt to the Wood Top, and I love it so so much. The ruffle detail is really romantic, and the shorter hemline is perfect for summer.

I love the draped effect of the fabric, it makes this mini skirt look as flowy as a maxi, and is super bohemian. What I would give to own this skirt!

The Venice

I adore high-waisted wide-leg jeans, so these are right up my alley. They give me slight 70s vibes, which I’m always into.

I love that these jeans are casual enough to wear on a daily basis, but could be dressed up easily with a pair of heeled boots and a nice blouse. I’m actually in the market for some new jeans, so I may have to get these if they ever restock my size!

Brut Sexy Eco-Friendly

Straight leg jeans are my daily go-to. I find them to be the most flattering fit for me, and work well with any outfit.

I really like that these are high-waisted – kind of a must for me with jeans – and the snug fit around the waist paired with the slightly looser legs is exactly what I’m after.

So that’s my Sézane wish list! I hope you guys enjoyed this post and found a few sustainable pieces that you would love to add to your wardrobe. See you next time,

A x
