Spring 2017 Makeup Launches I’m Excited About

One of the things I love most about a new year is the new products that will be launched, and the new trends that will begin. I’m always avidly scrolling through Trendmood’s Instagram (they also have an app now!) to see what new things are being released, and I have to say there are so many products I’m excited about!

Although many of these products have already launched (although mainly in the U.S.), they’re still new for 2017 and I have yet to get my hands on them. Here are the Spring 2017 launches I’m most excited about.

Urban Decay Vice Liquid Lipsticks

Urban Decay has one of the best ranges of lipstick shades in my opinion, and their lipsticks are awesome, so when I heard that they were creating liquid lipsticks I couldn’t help but be excited! These shades look seriously amazing, and from what I’ve seen from other people’s swatches the colour payoff is also incredible – I think I’ll definitely have to pick a few of these up. I don’t know when these will be released in the U.K. – they’re already available in the U.S. – but these should be around £15.

Cover FX Custom Enhancer Drops NEW SHADES

If you’ve read my blog before, you’ll know I’m already obsessed with the Custom Enhancer Drops. I currently have the shade ‘Celestial’, but I already know I need ‘Halo’ in my life. All of these shades look absolutely incredible, and I already know this product will be amazing quality. These should become available on February 19th – definitely the case for the U.S. but I’m not sure for the U.K. – and will be £34.

Cover FX Illuminating Setting Spray and The Perfect Light Highlighting Palettes

I always want my skin to look as dewy and glowy as possible, so I imagine this setting spray would be perfect for me. The highlighting palettes also look stunning, and I love that they have two shade options (‘Light Medium’ & ‘Medium Deep’) so that they work for all skin colours. These are priced at $31 (around £25) and will be available in the U.S. on February 19th – I don’t believe there’s a release date for the U.K. yet.

Charlotte Tilbury Matte Revolution Lipstick in ‘Pillow Talk’ and K.I.S.S.I.N.G Lipstick in ‘Valentine

I’m obsessed with the Charlotte Tilbury Lip Cheat in ‘Pillowtalk’, so when I heard that she was creating that shade in a lipstick I was beyond excited. These two shades are the perfect nudes, and I really hope I can get my hands on them. These lipsticks are already available and are £23.

Anastasia Beverly Hills Lip Palette

I’m usually not a fan of lip palette’s because I find them hard work and usually not as good quality as ordinary lipsticks, however this palette has totally changed my mind. The pigmentation looks amazing, and the shade range is incredible. Plus, this palette also comes with a spatula and a mixing plate so you can create your own unique shade, I really need to get my hands on this. This palette is not yet available in the U.K. (but hopefully it will come to the U.K. site soon!), it’s available in the U.S. for $48 so I assume this should be around £39-£40.

Colourpop Pressed Shadows

I actually just made my first Colourpop order a couple of days ago when I heard these shadows got released – I’ve been wanting to try Colourpop for ages so this was the perfect excuse! I’ll definitely be doing a huge Colourpop haul as soon as everything arrives, but from what I’ve seen of other people’s swatches, these shadows are going to be amazing! These are only $5 each (about £4), so they’re definitely value for money.

Lancome La Rose Parisian Powder

This product is probably something I will never buy because it’s unnecessary and way too much money for me to justify, but I love how cute this is! The petals of this rose are actually a highlighter, so you can swirl your brush in here and get a gorgeous glow! Plus, it would look absolutely stunning on your vanity – perhaps so stunning I would be too afraid to ever use it. This is available sometime in January, but will cost $60 (around £48) which I think is a little bit crazy.

Violet Voss Ride or Die Palette

I’ve been wanting the Violet Voss Holy Grail Palette for the longest time, but I think I might want this one even more! Not only does this palette have an incredible range of shades, one of my favourite shades shares my name (that’s Amy if you didn’t already know). Although this palette is already available in the U.S., there’s no current release date for the U.K., however as the palette is $75 it should be around £60.

NARS Primers

Anyone who knows me knows I’m obsessed with NARS, so when I heard that they were coming out with three new primers I was super excited. The one that interests me the most is the Radiance Primer, however they also have Pore & Shine Control and Smooth & Protect Primers. I’ll definitely be trying these out in the future, they’ve already launched and are £27.

Urban Decay Primers, Priming Spray and Newly Packaged Setting Sprays

Another bunch of primers I’m super excited for, especially the Bright and Tight and Optical Illusion Primers. I also love the idea of a priming spray, so I think I’ll definitely give that a go, plus all of the packaging is so cool! These don’t have prices yet, however they should be released sometime in spring.

So those are my favourite makeup launches for Spring 2017, there are so many products I’m excited about!

I hope you enjoyed this post, let me know in the comments some of the launches that you’re most excited about! See you next time,

A x

Love love love the Charlotte Tilbury Matte Lipsticks and I do need a primer but have never really tried anything from Nars. My skin is quite dull, so the radiance primer would be perfect xx
