The newest oil in my skincare routine

As a person with super dry skin, I love incorporating facial oils into my skincare routine. There are so many different types of oils, all with a unique purpose, so it’s definitely important to do your research to make sure you’re getting the best product for your skin.

I’ve tried a rosehip oil before in the past but it wasn’t the best quality and I didn’t really see any difference in my skin, so I was ready to give it another shot. I was kindly sent a bottle from Rosehip Plus, an Australian brand of organic, cold-pressed, 100% rosehip oil, which I really couldn’t wait to test out.

The benefits of rosehip oil are hydration and boosting elasticity, but it can also be used to reduce scarring and wrinkles – it all sounds pretty good to me. You probably know by now that I love anything organic, so I was already a big fan of this, and I really like that no chemicals are used to extract the oil meaning it’s completely natural.

I’ve been using this everyday for the past two weeks and I can honestly see how much of a difference it’s made already – about one week in my skin felt softer than it ever had before and now it’s completely smooth.

I add two drops of this into my moisturiser in an evening which makes my skin feel so good and hydrated, and I wake up with soft, glowing skin! I’ll also occasionally use a drop of this in a morning as well to make my skin smooth and hydrated for makeup – it absorbs really quickly so I’m not worried about it ruining my makeup.

I’m so glad I gave rosehip oil another shot – I’ve never actually had my skin be this soft, I keep asking everyone to touch my face! I’m honestly quite shocked with how good this has made my skin feel, and I absolutely will be buying another bottle once this one runs out.

I hope you guys enjoyed this post, let me know in the comments whether you’ve tried rosehip oil! See you next time,

A x
