The vegan and cruelty-free beauty products I’m loving right now

I don’t buy anywhere near as many beauty products as I used to (throwback to 2016 when this blog was all about makeup hauls), I have a rotation of products that really work for me and I rarely feel the need to switch it up.

Having said that, I’m always down to add a product to my routine that is unique and different in some way, or just something that I feel like my collection is lacking. I’ve recently come across a few new favourites that also happen to be vegan and cruelty-free, so I thought I’d share them with you guys!

GLOSSIER BROW FLICK – £15

I’ve been seeing brow pens rising in popularity for a couple of years now and I’ve always been pretty sceptical, but after seeing some reviews about this one from Glossier I finally decided to bite the bullet.

My main concern was that this would end up giving me major sharpie brows, but after seeing how sheer this is I think you’d find it a real task to achieve that kind of look. Don’t get me wrong, this isn’t so sheer that it’s difficult to see, but it’s nowhere near as pigmented as a liquid eyeliner or anything.

What I love most about this is how fine the tip is, making it ideal for creating hair-like strokes. It doesn’t dry immediately so you have a little time to work with it if you make a mistake, but once it’s dried down there’s absolutely no smudging it.

If you’re a fan of the bushy brow trend and want to achieve the most natural but best looking brows of your life, then definitely give this a try.

BEACHED RAYS FOR DAYS – £22.95

Full disclosure, I’ve worked with Beached in the past and adored the Urban Waves texturising spray that they sent for me to try out, and since then I’ve always wanted to pick up their bronzing serum. I tried the sample of it and basically fell in love, but for some reason I just hadn’t picked one up yet.

As I’m sure you’re aware Australia has been facing truly devastating bushfires, and Beached did a little fundraiser donating all of their profits to help WIRES Wildlife Service, so it really felt like the ideal time to finally get myself the product I wanted so badly and donate to an amazing cause.

This is like the bronziest serum of dreams – it’s sheer enough that I can wear this alone during the summer when I’m tanned to just amp up my glow, but is also perfect to mix into a moisturiser or foundation during winter to make me look so much healthier (and less like a ghost).

I really love that this protects from UVA and UVB rays (Aussie’s know their sun protection!), and you can even mix this into your body lotion for a head-to-toe glow. I’m such a huge fan of this – believe me, you need it in your life.

BECO HONEY BLOSSOM SHAMPOO BAR – £3.99

In this day and age we all need to be trying our best to do good for the environment, so when I saw this vegan, plastic-free shampoo bar that is paraben and SLS-free, I had to have it.

I’m very picky about which shampoos I use because anything too drying turns my wavy hair into a frizzy, not-very-wavy mess. Luckily, this one contains Argan Oil to help keep my hair soft and manageable, so that isn’t a problem at all! It also smells amazing, and is surprisingly just as easy to use as a liquid shampoo.

It lathers really well and I have a feeling it will last twice as long as bottled shampoo, plus the packaging is completely recyclable – what’s not to love?

I hope you guys enjoyed this post, let me know if you’ve tried any of these products or if there are any vegan/cruelty-free products that I need to try! See you next time,

A x
