What I Wore in the Cayman Islands

Summer is the time when I really come alive in terms of what I wear, and that increases tenfold if I’m on a tropical vacation. I love dressing as boho as possible, and I tried to make my outfits really represent that on this trip.

Since I absolutely adored everything I wore whilst I was in Grand Cayman, I thought I’d share a few of my favourite outfits with you guys today – with links in case you want to shop them, of course!

Spell featured a lot on my trip this year – they’re an Australian 70s-inspired brand that I absolutely adore, who are really dedicated to sustainability. This playsuit was not only a super cute piece to wear on my trip, it was also very helpful for keeping cool.

The lightweight material is super breathable, and the floral print just feels so perfectly summery. I loved the off-the-shoulder detailing too, it’s an easy piece to throw on for casual or dressy events.

This kimono featured in practically every photo I took on this trip, I think it’s one of my favourite things I own. I had been searching for a long, yellow kimono for what felt like forever, and this was everything I’d dreamt of.

This was great for throwing over a bikini as a coverup, and really helped to dress up a simple tank top and shorts.

Another Spell piece, this is hands down my favourite dress that I’ve ever owned. Although it’s long-sleeved, the short skirt offsets this so it’s still suitable for warm weather.

The colours on this dress are so summery, and I love the combination of the tassels and ruffles for a super boho look. The cinched waist is also incredibly flattering, and I love that it’s elasticated so it’s still really comfortable.

I wore a lot of t-shirts on this trip, but this one was definitely my favourite. Yellow was kind of my colour of choice whilst I was in Grand Cayman (can you tell?) and the font on this made it feel so 70s.

I really love the fit of this shirt, it’s not super fitted but it’s also not so baggy that you lose any shape. I styled all of my tees knotted in the front because I felt it created a really flattering silhouette, and this paired so well with a simple pair of shorts for a casual daytime outfit.

My final fave outfit included another Spell piece (who’s surprised?). This skirt is essentially the boho skirt of dreams – the high-low hem is so beachy and the beaded tassels make this otherwise fairly simple skirt really unique.

I loved throwing this on with a bikini for a coverup, but it was too pretty to not wear in the evening as well.

So those are my favourite outfits I wore whilst I was in Grand Cayman! I hope you guys enjoyed this post, let me know in the comments which outfit was your favourite. See you next time,

A x
