People have been going crazy over Wunderbrow for the past year, so I thought it was high time I tried it out for myself. If you haven’t heard of Wunderbrow, it’s basically a brow gel that not only fills in your brows but is also basically everything-proof and lasts for up to three days! As someone who can get pretty lazy with my eyebrows, this sounds like my dream product.
The main thing that drew me to this product was it’s promise to be long-lasting – it means I can do my brows the night before and wake up for the next three days with one less thing to do! I also thought it would be perfect for holidays as it would keep my brows looking great even when I go swimming.
I got mine in the shade ‘Auburn’ which is the perfect reddish-brown to match my hair colour. I love that the brand have so many different shades, as often most brow products don’t come in any warm-toned shades that would suit me! I also love the way this fills in my brows, it’s super pigmented but really natural and easy to use. I definitely would recommend using this with a brow brush though as the actual applicator would give serious sharpie brows!
One thing I was surprised about was that this dries down to be quite crispy with an intense hold, but this just made me feel like it would last even longer! This has a very true brow gel formula, although I would say it has the pigment of a pomade – it’s basically the best of both worlds.
I decided to really put this to the test and wear it in the shower, and I have to say I was super impressed! Despite the fact that I was rubbing my face this stuff did not move. I also kept it on for three days and it stayed looking pretty great for the entire duration; it started to fade a little on the front of the brows but nothing that made me look crazy.
Overall I’m super impressed with this product, I’m definitely going to be taking this with me on holiday. If you’re a lazy person like me who wants a couple extra minutes of sleep then I absolutely recommend this, it will be your saviour product!
I hope you enjoyed this post, let me know in the comments whether or not you’d like to try the Wunderbrow! See you next time,
