I recently felt that my wardrobe was a little lacking – I’ve been wearing my simple tee, ripped jeans and leather jacket combo for too long and it was time to add something new to the dynamic. Still including ripped jeans of course. And mostly black items. Okay, so maybe I didn’t change it up that much… but I know what works for me!
I have long been a fan of Zara, they have amazingly chic items at not too hefty a price. When on the lookout for new items I immediately start there, so of course this time was no different. I managed to find a whole outfit that I fell in love with – plus, it didn’t break the bank.
I also have a huge obsession with ASOS – not only do they have amazing brands, but their own line is just as awesome! I found a couple items there that I really loved – unfortunately one was a pair of Quay Australia sunnies (that were on sale!) that I bought the last pair of, only to be sent the wrong pair! Fortunately I was able to get my money back, but I’m still on the lookout for a gorgeous pair of Quay sunglasses – if you find some let me know!
It’s also been far too long since I’ve done a fashion post, so without further ado, here are the items I picked up.
I can’t begin to tell you how obsessed I am with this jumper – I’ve been looking for something like this for years and I’m so happy I finally found it! It goes amazingly with everything, and because it’s not too thick it’s perfect to transition from winter to spring. They have a variety of colours, but of course I went for black! I also love this choker from Warehouse, it’s a really pretty delicate choker that looks both dainty and boho – it’s fair to say that I’m obsessed.
Unfortunately Zara no longer stock the top I was wearing in the photo above as it was on sale – £9.99 down from £25.99, Zara have amazing sales you have to check them out! – however I’ve linked one above that is almost exactly the same. As soon as I saw the shredded hems trend I knew I had to jump on board, and these jeans from Zara are everything I wanted and more. Not only are they incredibly trendy, they’re also the most comfortable jeans I’ve ever owned – they’re super stretchy and extra soft! Now I’m the kind of person who will absolutely sacrifice comfort for fashion, but when I can have both in one I jump at the chance, so I count this as a massive win.
These boots were the main reason I made this Zara order, I knew that no matter what outfit I paired them with I would always look incredibly chic. Not only that, but these are also comfortable whilst still being fashionable (thank you Zara!) – I’ve done huge shopping trips in these and they don’t hurt my feet at all. I also think they’re a total bargain at £29.99 – usually boots cost way more – so I’m super pleased with this purchase.
So that was my Zara and ASOS try-on haul! I really hope you enjoyed this post, let me know if you’d like more of this style of post in the future and what you thought of the items I bought! See you next time,
