As much as I hate every season other than summer because it gets too cold, even I can appreciate autumn fashion. The jewel tones, cosy jumpers and oversized everything does make me very happy, I must admit.
Since the weather turns cold so quickly in the UK, I thought I’d show you my three favourite outfits for transitioning into autumn.
All of these outfits are from ASOS and Zara, so totally easy to find and pretty affordable too! Here are my three favourite autumnal outfits.
THE JUMPER DRESS
I love jumper dresses – they’re so versatile and can be easily dressed up or down. This one from Zara is awesome because it’s super oversized and cosy, but it still looks put together.
I love pairing it with these tan ASOS boots for a really stylish outfit that I can just throw on, and I’ll make it even warmer for winter by adding a pair of tights. These boots are amazingly comfy (even though they’re pretty high), and they make any outfit look a lot trendier – I kind of never want to stop wearing them.
THE TARTAN SKIRT
As soon as I saw this skirt in Zara I knew I needed it in my life. The different colours make it cool enough that it can be a statement piece, but it’s also not so bold that I’d never find a chance to wear it. I absolutely love the style and fit, plus it gives me major Rachel Green meets Cher Horowitz vibes – which is never a bad thing.
I paired it with an oversized black jumper from ASOS which makes it a little more casual – I initially wanted to style it with a white fluffy cropped jumper but alas, I have been unable to find the right one so this will have to do for now.
I finished the look with a pair of black ankle boots from Zara – you really can’t go wrong with a pair like these during autumn, I know I’ll be wearing them with practically everything.
THE FLUFFY JUMPER
My final look is a super casual one – you really can’t go wrong with an oversized jumper and a pair of jeans for autumn. I love this one from ASOS because it’s so fluffy and cosy, and I’m a huge fan of the camel colour. I bought it in a bigger size so it would be even more oversized and comfy, but you could definitely stick to your normal size and it would still be a little bigger.
I simply paired this with the boots from the previous outfit and my (very) well-loved pair of Levi’s. It’s an easy outfit to throw on and look cool but still feel really comfortable – win-win!
So those are my favourite outfits to transition into autumn with, let me know in the comments which outfit is your favourite! See you next time,
