Since the weather is beginning to warm up and summer is just around the corner, I thought it would be appropriate to share with you guys some of the newest perfumes I’ve bought recently which have me dreaming of lying on a tropical beach somewhere. These are honestly the perfect scents for summer, and I always have a lot of fun picking out new perfumes for the season!

Guerlain Terracotta Le Parfum Eau de Toilette 100ml – £49

I absolutely love this perfume, it honestly just smells like summer in a bottle! This perfume has notes of bergamot, tiaré flower and ylang ylang, giving it a warmth that really adds to the tropical-ness of it. The Guerlain Terracotta perfume is actually a special limited edition to celebrate the Terracotta range’s 30th birthday, with this perfume having the same scent as the bronzers, so it’s a special item to have. The bottle is also really gorgeous, with the Terracotta icon on the front, so it looks incredibly pretty displayed on my dressing table. You do get a lot for the price as well, 100ml will last you a really long time – even if you want to use it all the time because it smells so good! I love everything about this perfume, it makes me feel summery even on the coldest of days, and I really recommend it to anyone wanting to feel like they’re on holiday even if they’re just sat at home. Get one here before they’re gone!

Tom Ford Neroli Portofino Acqua Eau de Toilette 50ml – £95

This perfume is incredible, honestly, one of the best perfumes I have ever owned. It is incredibly expensive, I grant you, but I mean, it is Tom Ford, and also the scent is just so amazing and unique I personally think it’s absolutely worth the price tag. This was actually a new release for the Summer 2016 Collection, and is a lighter version of the original Neroli Portofino (which I also love!). This includes notes of citrus and amber, and is supposed to be reminiscent of the Italian Riviera, which to me is just heaven. The bottle is, of course, stunning, very simple with a frosted blue glass that looks like the ocean, with the signature gold “Tom Ford” on the lid. This has very quickly become one of my absolute favourite perfumes, and it lasts all day even though I’m using it very sparingly – at that price I can’t let it go to waste! I completely adore this, and it would make the perfect gift for someone or even just as a treat for yourself! You can buy this amazing perfume here.

So those are my two favourite perfumes for Summer ’16, let me know in the comments what your favourite perfumes are for the summer, and leave suggestions for what I should post next!
